CONSTITUTION ENTRANCE FEES AND SUBSCRIPTIONS

ENTRANCE FEES

The Entrance Fees for Ordinary Members shall be fixed by the Management Committee and shall be presented each year for approval to the Annual General Meeting. It was agreed that for 2011 there would be no entry fee.

 

ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION

The Annual Subscription for Ordinary Members shall be fixed by the Management Committee and shall be presented each year for approval to the Annual General Meeting. The Subscription shall be fixed at such a level to meet the "Net Expenditure" as estimated by the Finance convenor. The Subscription Year is from 1st April to the 31st March.

 

PAYMENT OF SUBSCRIPTIONS

Annual Subscriptions in respect of Ordinary Members shall be payable in two instalments, the first not later than 30th November and the second (being the balance for the Year) not later than 31st March. Intimation of the amount of the first instalment payable, which shall be determined by the Management Committee, will be made on the notice boards in the Clubhouse, not later than 15th October. Members (except those paying in advance by standing order) will receive an invoice early in March. Members paying by standing order will receive an invoice early in April, and should make good any deficit  by 30th April.

 

OTHER MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES

Annual subscriptions in respect of all other categories of membership shall be payable in one payment, not later than the 31st March, or by direct debit to be arranged through the Secretary.

 

NOTIFICATION

The Annual Subscriptions recommended by the Management Committee to be payable by all categories of membership will be published in the Annual Report circulated to members and will also be contained in the Membership Card.

 

DEFAULT IN PAYMENT

An Ordinary Member, who fails to pay the first instalment of the subscription by the 30th November, shall be liable to a fine of 10% of the current instalment for every month or part thereof in default. A member of any category who fails to pay his or her Annual Subscription by the 31st March shall not be entitled to any of the privileges of the Club (including playing the Course). Any Member who fails to pay the due subscription by the 30th April shall at the option of the Management Committee cease to be a Member.  The Management Committee shall have the power to exhibit in the clubhouse the name of any defaulting member.
