Course Disruption

Course Disruption

Dear Member,

From Tuesday 1st October, there will be Contractors gaining access to the golf course, to carry out some exploratory excavation work from the 2nd green across the practice area to the 16th green.
This work is to review the Leven Embankment which has been closed off, to ascertain what damage has been caused by erosion over the years.

During this period, could all members please be mindful that contractors will be operating machinery to and from this area, using the path from the green keepers shed, across the 14th fairway along the side of the 4th and 13th greens. The path will continue along the left hand side, to the back of the 4th tee, across the 3rd and 2nd fairways and the full length of the practice area.

During the period when the work is taking place, there may be some disruption to your round, with the possibility of the 4th and 17th tees being taken out of play for a short period of time.
The committee would like to take the opportunity to thank the membership, for their continued support and we hope to keep the disruption to a minimum for all members during this period.

Regards
DGC Committee
